Brought New Ridge in to do a buff and coat of some old hardwood floors and a first floor staircase. The floors were dull and in poor shape after being under carpet for almost 70 years but Peter and his team both made them look great and did some small additional repairs to ensure we'll hopefully get as much time as we can out of them. Great communication throughout and fair, up front pricing. Very happy and highly recommend!

First time using this company and would highly recommend. They were always on time, very professional, polite and cleaned up after every visit. They sanded and restained my hardwood floors. Am extremely happy with their service and most definitely would use them again. This picture is the after they finished my floors.

Refinishing our wood floor

They matched my wood floors when my kitchen reno was started. They also stained my stair railing to match my floors. Everything looks impeccable. This is the 2nd time Ive used NewRidge. Both times the process was seamless, they did what they said they would, for how much they quoted and got the job done in the time they said they would take. Their work is beautiful. I would absolutely highly recommend them.

I hired NewRidge to sand and stain the existing hardwood in my new home as the colour was quite dated. From beginning to end, Scott and Sebastian ensured that the process was a smooth one for me - all of my questions were answered promptly, they made great suggestions, the work was completed quickly and within the time frame they promised, and everything was cleaned up nicely. I'm thrilled with the results and highly recommend their work!

Stair install and finishing

Very pleased with my first project with NewRidge Refinishing. They were highly responsive to all emails, provided a competitive quote, and completed the project in a timely manner. I had my stairs redone, with new treads, risers, and post/pickets installed. I was very appreciative that NewRidge Refinishing not only installed new stairs but was also able to stain/paint the final product (something that I found many stair companies in Guelph didn't offer). The team, led by Tyler, made sure everything was left clean at the end of the day and the final product looks outstanding. I have to hesitation recommending NewRidge Refinishing.

Very professional and precise work. Clear communication on estimates, invoices and billing. Matt, the installer could not have been more professional, polite, accommodating with an extreme attention to details. I would qualify him as an artist in his field of work, and a great guy. This was a big job for us, and as we were living in the house as he was redoing the entire top floor, he took a lot of measures to keep the dust down and do a super clean up every day before he left. The end result is nothing but perfection. I had floors done at my other house, and they looked nothing like this. I could not ask for more. Thank you guys!

We could not be happier with the work that was done in our 2 storey condo. We had new flooring installed throughout and our entire staircase remodelled with custom hardwood. The transformation is incredible.

Lore and Alex and the whole construction team were so helpful in guiding us through the process and were kind and respectful of our home and family.

Main floor transformation

Lori and her team have completed a fabulous transformation for us. They removed our tiled kitchen flooring, seamlessly replaced it with hardwood and then sanded and restained all the flooring. They also rebuilt our stairway, sanded and restained the treads, painted the risers, replaced the spindles, handrails and balusters, added shoe moulding all round as well as some new trim. The results are stunning and exactly what I was hoping for. Lori was super amazing to work with, open and honest, and her team consciousness and friendly. Their skill and craftsmanship is to be commended. The entire project ran over time, which is why I took off one star
