Very happy with the work Tom and his crew provided.

Tom showed up on the job and with his crew and had the roof completed in a timely matter. I was impressed with the crew and was very happy with the effort they took to insure my yard was protected by tarps and that they cleaned up leaving no trace of any roofing material / nails.

I had a very minor tweak that was needed... I emailed Tom and he was out that same day and addressed the matter. Very happy with his customer service.

We used Mega City Roofing to get a new roof last month. Tom, the owner of the company, is super easy to talk to and erased all worries I had about choosing the right company. We were very pleased with the result. The roof looks awesome! They were very efficient and they left the property spotless. His quote was reasonable and he didn't try to "sell" me. He was onsite during the project and was always available to answer our questions in a prompt and courteous manner. I would definitely use him again. Mega City was responsive, responsible, reliable and reasonably-priced. Tom, the owner, answered my request for a quote immediately and provided a clear and comprehensive costing. His was the third quote I sought out, and was the most reasonably-priced and thorough. He did a complete inspection of my interiors to check for signs of leakage with close attention to our flat roof areas. Our roof had been patched over many times, and his crew did a complete stripping of 4 tons' worth of layers. The roof looks pristine and beautiful now. Tom is a genial guy who was a pleasure to do business with. HIs crew cleaned up impeccably and were helpful beyond the call of duty disposing of extra waste material.

Not thrilled with the fact that I was told something and realized what I was told was NOT what was done! When the first rainfall came noticed my BRAND NEW ROOF was leaking. Numerous calls to Tom where made and although he did come back ONCE, his solution was not sufficient as it is now 4years since and my roof is STILL LEAKING! I will/have not recommended Mega city and if I know of anyone wanting to get work done, I will STRONGLY DISAPPROVE!!

You did your job, just that you DIDNT do what you quoted me in the estimate, i DID in fact raise the concern i had with the builders design flaw of my roof and remember you SPECIFICALLY telling me that you were going to torch some rubber membrane in the specific area and that it was included in the estimate. That is why i agreed to pay you $4000.00, if that price DIDNT include torching rubber membrane i would NEVER pay that just for shingles knowing that price is high, but of the 5 estimates i got you where the only person who mentioned torching membrane that is why i choose you! i didn't have a problem with the cost because of what i was told!
About a year later i called you and you came over and put caulking on the flashing and shinles, even though i knew that wouldn't resolve the issue, and i remember you telling me at THAT time if the roof still leaks after that that you would come back and lay down some rubber membrane, you NEVER mentioned money nor did ever discuss you fixing THIS problem for at a "little cost to me". A coulpe months went by and i called you AGAIN (2nd call)and left you a message, I got no response. (3rd call) exact same response as 2nd call. I called (answering machine) and advised you that because of your lack of Honouring your work and warranty that this is going to become a legal matter. you then FINALLY returned my call and told me not to threaten you!.........Tom.....I received your 2 messages today but unfortunatly was working out of town and therefor was not able to return your call until I got home, which I did. Now I'm looking forward to our next conversation in person on Saturday.

Tom... I'm relieved that after 4 years and many phone calls you finally came back to resolve my issue. I'm also appreciative that upon removing some shingles you saw for yourself that the work was done incorrectly and you admitted such to me. I'm satisfied with the repair however, this experience has made me more cautious when hiring a contracter in the future. As a consumer I would recommend homeowners be present when having work done on their home!

Tom and his crew did a remarkable job on our roof. The new shingles and flashing have significantly enhanced the curb appeal of the house. The crew was professional, punctual and efficient. The job was completed in one day and our yard was left remarkably clean. They took extra care to ensure there was no damage to our neighbours' homes or windows. We look forward to enjoying our new roof for many years to come.

Tom Geo takes an enormous amount of pride in his work. His team was fast, diligent and cleaned up brilliantly. We had several quotes, chose Mega City roofing but then were unable to complete the work right away. Tom worked with our schedule and accomodated us as soon as we were ready. We're completely satisfied with our new roof.

I requested estimates from several GTA roofing companies. Several did not even bother to return my initial call. I did receive quotations from three companies to re-roof our home.

I selected Mega City Roofing because of their professional approach. They were the only company to take the time to get up on a ladder and fully inspect the condition of the existing roofing and provided a full report. Other contractors simply eyeballed it from the ground. Tom Geo explained the options and took time to answer all questions.

The work was completed in a day by his well trained crew of six, many of whom had worked with the company for several years. Clean-up was immaculate and care was taken to tarp and protect both the neighbour's property in addition to our own.

We received quotes from 4 different roofing contractors, all selected from Homestars. Tom got back to us quickly and provided us with a competitive quote. He was instantly available to discuss the scope of work and provided us with his recommendations as to scope changes. They arrived when promised with a crew of 7 people, and completed the entire job within one day, with minimal disruption. I would highly recommend Mega City for your roofing needs.

In 2009, Mega City Roofing replaced our entire roof and did an outstanding job. In the Fall 2011, a small leak developed in one of the skylights. Since we suspected the leak stemmed from a missing shingle or other shingle defect on the roof, we immediately called Tom Geo of Mega City Roofing. He immediately responded and promptly sent one of his repairmen to address the problem. It turned out the leak was due to a small defect in the skylight frame and did not arise from a missing shingle or faulty shingle installation in 2009. Mega City promptly resolved the problem. Although we expected to compensate Mega City's for their prompt and excellent repair, Tom refused to charge. Irrespective of the final repair bill, we are very impressed with the quality of Mega City's (Tom Geo's) customer service. We take this opportunity to confirm, without hesitation, that the high rating of Mega City Roofing at Homestars is absolutely well deserved. I called several companies for an estimate as numerous shingles came off my roof after a serious wind storm. Tom from Mega City got back to me the same day, came by my house and assessed the situation. It was time for my roof to be replaced as the shingles had all worn down to the paper. Tom assessed the entire roof...from the roof. This is important as another roofer who arrived for an assessment never left the sidewalk. In 2 minutes he quoted me $3600 for all the repairs without even going on the roof to assess what was required! Another well known roofer couldn't come to assess the roof for 4 days. BAsed on all this, I went with Tom from Mega City. He was polite, thorough, and helped me understand my many options. He then presented a solution that met my needs and kept the price under control. His team arrived as scheduled, put out tarps and boarded windows (they even put a tarp on the car next door). I left them to do their work at 8:30am and returned at 2pm to find a beautiful new roof. They cleaned everything up and used a magnet to sweep for any stray nails. They even did a little bit of free work on my neighbor's roof while they were up there. In the end, Tom's team not only did a fantastic job, but they even came in $250 under the estimate. Workmanship is guaranteed for 10 years. I took a bunch of Tom's business cards as a number of the other houses in my area need some work and I intend on making sure they know who to go to for a job well done! Thanks Tom!
