I fully recommend Maret's cleaning. I used this company for renovation cleaning. They could not start until 5pm. I was moving in at 9 am the next morning. My house had recieved an extensive renovation and was a disaster. Drywall dust covering every square inch. Maret's team came in and cleaned all night long. In the moring, it was as if the renovation never took place. Everything was perfectly clean without a trace. She brought in a team of six cleaners. They worked the entire night. We tried once to hire a cleaning service and the result was disastrous. We started looking recently for someone with a solid reputation. HomeStar users gave Maret’s Cleaning Services raving reviews, and most importantly, from people in our own neighbourhood. We contacted Maret and she came to our home the next evening to assess our needs. She was funny, lively, confident and warm. We trusted her immediately. She sent us Meryl. We leave for work on Thursday and come home to a sparkling, and I mean sparkling home. It smells so clean. It hits you when you walk in. I have never seen wood floors shine like this. I have never imagined our cork floor in the kitchen could even shine (or stay that way for a week). My kitchen sink looks like a mirror. I don’t even want to put a fork in it. Our bathroom is so clean that you could eat off of the surfaces. There is not one piece of garbage and the bags are changed throughout the house. My couch is brought back to life (how does she do that?) It looks so plump! My bed looks like a five star hotel’s and the pillows are puffed up. She organizes inside our cupboards. She lets our dog in and out of the backyard and even cleans her doggy bed and organizes her toys! Meryl’s service has changed our lives. It’s increased our quality of life. It took us four years in the bed and breakfast business to solve our biggest headache: cleaning staff. We had several, but always, no matter how good they were, just when you think you've got that issue under control, they quit. It's only human nature. People change. But then, it fell on us to start all over, searching, interviewing, and - oh god not again - training. A bed and breakfast is more than a home, and different from any other business. It must be clinically clean, everywhere. Each drawer must be checked, bar fridges emptied, beds made properly. The cleaner must work around guests, and be scrupulously honest. THEN, four years ago, we met Maret, and we've never had a single worry, disappointment, or concern since that day. Once or twice a week, as we require, there's Maret or her staff - or both - and I know that a few hours later, everything will sparkle. Maret personally trains any new staff to our standards, and does the cleaning herself occassionally to ensure her standards are consistantly being met. Her staff are always cheerful, intellegent and presentable people that we are proud to have associated with our business. I have often said, "If having a B&B is justification for keeping Maret's Quality Home Cleaning Service in our life, then we'll run a B&B forever!"
