Loc Tite Interlocking

Got them in in early May. paid my deposit and was told it would take 4-5 weeks. It is now mid July and still no work done. I cannot get hold of anyone. My daughter is having the same problem. I cannot reach anyone by phone.

Greg contacted me immediately and the job has commenced. Seems like they had problems with the phone lines that they were unaware of. My daughters job is also being take care of.

So they did not pitch up at my daughters house after Greg PROMISED her in person that they would start the job on Tuesday.
Draw your own conclusion....

Signed the contract on May 25 and both agreed to start job within 4 weeks. Called many times but start date still unable to be confirmed by the company as of June 10. That is LONG wait! Fortis the estimate gent looks like pretty professional except for keeping the timing promise... Hope they will come shortly.

Signed a contract with David on May 30th and he got my 10% deposit. We agree to put the "start the project within 3 weeks" on the contract. No one contact me for any delay. I called many times and got the message that my project will delay 2 weeks. Currently, it's close to 5 weeks. Called but never get response. It looks like a big company. That's why I choose it. But it doesn't handle custom like a big company. I'm still waiting for response ...........I don't konw how the people get 10.
(Update Aug 1st): Thanks for the owner's response. And eventually I got some response. I called again and was told they will start to dig next week. Hope it's true.
(Update Aug 14th); Still nothing happened until now. Call again. And Lily told me for sure my project will start this week. Hope so........
(Update Aug 19th): Eventually, David show up yesterday and dig out for about 2 hours. My Irrigation pipe is broken. They left and I don't know when they will be back the fix the pipe and do the following work.

The workmanship by this company was outstanding, Foti and Brian truly went out of their way to deliver an amazing interlocking on my driveway and back yard. The quality of work exceeded all my expectations :)

Finally problems were corrected accordingly.Took a while but now everything is ok.Now my question is why was not done right from the beginning?

Not happy at all with this company.I thought a larger company will be easier to deal but I was wrong.They rushed and cut corners big time.No attention to details.
Very rude when asked to fixed problems.Slopy job and not to trust when they say will come.No communication from them once you paid them.Stones are not levelled and polymer sand is not filled between.Few areas were left stones in the air without lateral support .Same with driveway curbs,no lateral support .Also the backyard is not flat levelled.A mess for the money I paid.
Last day on work site they just put sod over bumpy soil and over tree roots.I had to do sod cuts around roots.While at work,they dropped heavy tools on new sod and when asked to remove and pay attention,crew leader Jeff called me "nuts".
Three weeks after they did not returned to correct the problems.Keep saying this Saturday,than move to this Sunday. And same BS for next weekend.Again,
RESPECT CUSTOMERS FOR MONEY THEY PUT IN YOUR POCKETS!

This is my answer to company response:
First of all you did not schedule any repair.You just inform me on a Saturday morning your team will come.I told you is not a good time and I would prefer to schedule with me in advance.
A "schedule" to me means when both parties agree to a date and time.You just can not come on a weekend without prior to discuss this with client.Please let me know in advance when you are willing to come.As for the backyard sod it is kinda late after almost 6 weeks to remove established grass and re-level the soil. Anyway nice approach when a customer is not happy , your company threat with law suit.
Everything I wrote reflect the reality.Look at the pictures.Does it look right to you?
Why someone will leave a negative feedback for a good job?
There is absolutely no reason.Happy customers always leave positive feedback.This is only a response for a poor job. I'm sorry you feel frustrated regarding my review but it is only show my thoughts and feeling.I did not know being honest it gets me a law suit.If this the way you are running business be it.Your choice.
I know and hope you'll come for repairs but why you just don't do it right from the beginning?

This is the 4th time I've used Greg and his crew to do work at my house, So when I was in was in need of a new front porch. I knew I had to call his most knowledgeable sales rep/designer, FOTI. Foti came over right away and gave us ideas what is Hot to do and within a few days he came back with his crew and started right away. They were very polite and cleaned up the property after every day. When they were finished, I was left with the most beautiful house on the street. The flagstone turned out amazing, it helps the house stand out from all of the others. I would recommend Loc Tite Interlocking to all of my friends and family, they do amazing work.

A close friend on mine recommended Loctite to me because she was satisfied with the installation quality and competitive price. I chose Loctite Interlocking to complete my project last fall in October of 2013. Well with the tough winter we had the this year let me tell you the workmanship was great!! I was relieved as my neighbors house across the street who bragged about the cheaper quote from a different contractor didn't fair so well. I'm glad I chose a company with over 25 years experience in the business who employs skilled workers. Tony the sales person was very competent and I felt comfortable with his approach. He also was available during the construction process and was able to reach him for some minor changes. We installed a beautiful full driveway and backyard interlocking around the pool with flagstone and rockery. YES I would recommend Loctite for your construction needs.

Update 2014 - May...falling apart AGAIN

In spring 2012 we had work down to our joining residences in Aurora. Foti gave us a reasonable price on the job, was helpful and for the most part delivered on the timelines. However, the quality of the job was not good. Lipstick nice, poor install and workmanship. I have been in construction a long time and I would have done this myself, but I figured to hire someone this time around. The first job had to redone 3 times and have several repairs. The warranty team from Loc-Tite came by and even they were frusterated with the installer and they sent him back to fix the issue. Now I am going into season 2, and surprise surprise...the install failed again. Steps collapsing against house, heaving, separation and the list goes on. I have been calling for over a month to get a live person to schedule the warranty work yet again, sent faxes, emails and zero...not sure what to do to get the attention, but these guys just don't care and deal with it as they want. So, hence my post today. Hopefully they will live up to their agreement and make this job right.....
