I Move Canada

I am very disappointed and frustrated with imove. They did not show up for the move. When I tried calling them, they did not pick up the phone. I even had my friends try calling them from different numbers. Finally, after being 6 hours late, their driver offered to move our stuff under the table. I refused as I didn't believe it would ever get delivered.

I have called, e-mailed and text messaged i-move. I have yet to hear a response from them.

I checked the BBB website and they are not registered. I had to hire another company to move my items at a substantially hire cost as I was stuck in a lurch.

Avoid iMove canada at all costs!!!! We had a very bad experience with this company recently. The 10 Star reviews are posted by iMove or their employees just like they have done on other sites. BE AWARE and check the BBB website!!!!!

PLEASE reconsider if you are planning on choosing this company. I carefully went through all the reviews on this website and I don't understand what went wrong with us and the people that voted 10 stars.

The movers showed up an hour late, they took their time at the end part of their move while talking on the phone, and then tried to charge us for an extra hour which they did not yet complete! The manager hung up on me while I was telling him the situation and according to the movers refused to talk to me ay further.

They then took cash, said they'd be up with the rest of the boxes but half an hour later I found out that they had driven off leaving the boxes in the lobby. This is absolutely ridiculous, the men were not professionals, barely spoke English and there are dents on my wooden furniture. I would strongly advise you to reconsider choosing this company

Worst movers I have ever used. Late, unreliable. Did not deliver all of my items. Now 2 weeks later I cannot contact them by phone, fax or email. They still have not delivered my missing items. The most unprofessional moving company I have ever used.

If you are planning to use them, I would cancel immediately! If you are in the middle of a move, don't pay anything until you are sure ALL of your items are there.

UNPROFESSIONAL - These guys are compleletly incapable of moving anything. Amatures at best. They don't show up on time. They rent Uhaul trucks that are too small for the job. I don't know where they hire their labour but they have no respect for the home or the possessions in it. Everything they touch gets damaged. They are not insured or bonded (despite what they claim).

Customer Service is non existant - especially after they get your money! My suggestion (that is if you're crazy enough to hire these guys) is not to pay them until after you unpack everything. They take your stuff but you don't reallize until after when you're unpacking boxes and it's too late. Maybe you can get a free move if you don't pay but beware they got paid other ways (selling the items they take from you)

I came across iMove through my car club affiliation and several referrals from members who have used them for either residential or office moving needs.

I am very satisfied with the service we had received; from packing to loading to delivery and unloading at our new residence everything was handled with care.

Moving is not cheap, however, after several moves we came to realise that we cannot afford a cheap mover. I am happy with our choice and will recommend iMove to my friends in the future!
