Green Apple Landscaping

We were recommended Green Apple Landscaping when we were applying for a front yard parking permit for our property in Toronto. We worked with Andrea to come up with a landscape proposal that met both the requirements of the front yard parking bylaw and the visual aesthetic we were looking for. Where Green Apple differed from other companies was that they contacted the Right of Way Management Office to make sure their landscape proposal met the city bylaw. Peter was very helpful in helping us navigate the whole application process and was able to share with us his experience with front yard parking permit applications. When the city finally approved our proposal, Green Apple promptly scheduled in our project and the work was completed in a very timely manner. The crew was professional, friendly, efficient and did an excellent clean up after each work day. Peter followed up with us to ensure that everything was going well. Andrea also worked with us to select plants for our garden and kept in mind our request for a low maintenance garden. We are very happy with our new front deck, garden and paved front yard parking pad.

Dave and his Team did a great job fixing our front steps - which were left a mess after our last contractor's work - leak in basement, etc...
Green Apple was able to salvage our beautiful (massive) stone steps, waterproof the side of the house, put a SOLID cement pad and steps down before carefully placing the stone steps on top, angled properly for water runoff. (I'm sure there were other stages I've not mentioned) They arrived before we left for work and were there till after we came home. They cleaned up after themselves, were quiet, fast and diligent.
We have already recommended them to our friends and if we ever need hardscape or gardening help again, we'll happily call on Green Apple.

Peter, Andrea and the Green Apple crew did great job from start to finish on out home project. They talked to us daily and ensured we were happy with the final result and 2 years later they continue to provide us good advice and options ( free of charge!) on maintenance and ideas for new projects, some of them DIY.
Green Apple is one of those rare contractors that let their product and satisfied customers generate them new business, not sharp ads and by low ball quotes. They built us a good solid deck and 'scorched the earth' and provided us with a new look n our front and back yards. our neighbors said we are trying to get into "House and Home' magazine. I am glad we went with a professional company rather than a deck builder and a gardener. We had some water drainage issues in our yard that would have been a disaster for our new deck and garden if Peter and his crew had not assessed the problem and built us a french drains to siphon water away from the house. Green Apple is not cheap but they provide good value and will pick up the phone after their finished which gives them extra points in my book.

After meeting with several landscapers, we hired Green Apple to remove a concrete parking pad from the front of our house, and replaced with soft landscaping and a permeable walkway. Dave and his crew created a lovely walkway and three flowerbeds. They were punctual and the craftsmanship is terrific. Dave is friendly, responsive and sincere with his recommendations. He took the time to go over several options with us and was very accommodating to changes we wanted to make. Highly recommended!

We conducted several quotes for our recent landscaping projects, and Peter's strength in customer service and landscaping expertise shined through from the beginning. We were able to work out a solid plan on budget that would deliver a much improved curb appeal and improved outdoor living space upon completion. With a fantastic onsite team led by Victor, these guys really walked the talk and were able to finish up on schedule, meeting or exceeding all our expectations. What really stood out when dealing with Green Apple Landscaping was the amazing customer-service Peter provided! He was always respectful and helpful when answering my questions and concerns. Some trades people are so busy and knowledgeable they can be intimidating and abrupt. Not Peter! Peter’s customer service made this experience informative and fun. He listened and helped to make sure we got what we want while always offering his expert opinion to make sure it would look great and do well.

The crew worked very quickly, were professional and knowledgeable.

We received multiple bids for our project and Green Apple's price was very competitive. Ultimately, Peter found a way to meet our budget so we could get everything we wanted at a price we were happy with.

We have been a long standing client of Green Apple and they have done done all of the professional landscaping at our home. Everything has been great, starting at the design phase, through construction and to the final product. Over time we have needed some mainteance to be performed on our garden and Green Apple's post completion service has also been amazing. We only have positive things to say about Peter and his wonderful crew.

Green Apple Landscaping did a fabulous job designing and building a beautiful new backyard layout for our home in the Beach. Our lot isn't huge so we decided to get rid of the little bit of high maintenance grass and go with a stone patio and perennial planting bed. The design process was very interactive, taking into account our use of the space and desire for low maintenance. There was easy dialogue on adjusting the initial design and cost estimate to meet budget constraints. Once the design was finalized the wait time for construction to begin was reasonable.
The construction crew was very professional and efficient, on site early, managed the equipment well, and completed the project exactly to the specs. They were respectful of neighbors and kept the job site very clean.
We are extremely happy with the end result, will use Green Apple again for our next project (front yard) and would definitely recommend them to others.

We came across Green Apple Landscaping on Homestars and were immediately impressed with their portfolio of pictures. We were in the process of applying for approval for a front yard parking pad and wanted a professional company that would help us through the design process.
The initial meeting with Peter left my wife feeling very comfortable and the next step was to have Andrea come out and discuss the details. She is amazing! Andrea’s designs were very thorough and professional. I can’t imagine the process without her designs.
The crew (lead by Victor) were very professional and unbelievably fast. We actually went out of town for a few days expecting to back to a construction site. But when we arrived home they were already finished (parking pad, walkway, garden preps, and retaining wall in the front plus the patio and boulders in the back).
We were a little worried that the process would inconvenience our neighbours. But when we spoke to them afterwards their first comment was that, “we had the nicest parking pad they had seen in the neighbourhood” and complimented us on choosing such quality contractors.
Since the completion of our project I have spent a fair bit of time watering the new plants and sod. I have literally met dozens of people who have stopped to comment on how beautiful our landscaping looks.
I am a stickler for details and Peter and the team have been a pleasure to deal with and even down to the smallest detail, he made everything perfect.
