We hired Forever Stone Design to reconstruct the front entrance to our home. This included building a natural stone lower landing surrounded by a knee wall anchored by pillars. The build also included natural stone steps; the cladding of our existing concrete porch with flagstone, and a stone paver border around our driveway.

When I first met Mimmo to discuss our project, I was quite impressed with his 40 years of building experience and sage advice. As we discussed the details of the project including the foundation requirements, I quickly recognized that I was dealing with a master stonemason who was passionate about his work. With little deliberation, we hired Mimmo and with the work now completed, we are more than satisfied with the results. Our front entrance looks amazing!
Mimmo and his hard working, friendly crew were consistently on sight every day working long hours to complete the job on time. Mimmo’s attention to detail and workmanship made for a worry free experience. Throughout the build process, he made a number of suggested changes to our design that ultimately enhanced the look and value of our home. We were so impressed with his workmanship that we asked him to do additional work for us in rebuilding a stone fire pit in our backyard. Like his work to our front entrance, the round fire pit he built is a work of art. While the great Michelangelo of the High Renaissance died in 1564, I believe his spirt and passion live on through people like Mimmo.

Adding stonework to your property is a big investment so it is important to hire the right contractor. Master stonemasons like Mimmo who are passionate about their work are very rare to find. I would recommend him and his team without hesitation to anyone who is interested in quality workmanship that will stand the test of time.

Mimmo and his crew did our interlock driveway and stone walkways almost 9 years ago. They needed resealing and repair/relaying so we hired them again. The job was done amazingly and without any fuss, just like last time. Mimmo even came to powerwash our driveway in the pouring rain one of the days!

Mimmo and his team came and worked on my property for about a month as it was a big job including an outdoor kitchen under a gazebo and outdoor firepit. The work was done to perfection and followed my plans exactly. Everything was done very precise and with a high level of skill. Whatever needed to be level was exactly level like the counter tops / firepit top. The slopes were done perfectly for the ground pavers. Mimmo takes pride in his work and won't complete the job until he is satisfied. He even re-layed a portion of stone part way through laying it as he did not like the slope it was taking and I didn't even ask. Also Mimmo is there with his guys everyday working on the project himself rather than just setting teams up to do multiple jobs and you get his many years of experience which shows with his work. A neighbour used another contractor for pavers stones a few doors down and she kept bringing that contractor to my property complaining about their work and how she wanted their work to look like what Mimmo did on mine as she was not happy with their finished product. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone as he is very trustworthy and creates a worry free experience when spending that kind of investment on your property! His team is also very experienced and they clean up everyday at the end of the day before going home!

After meeting with Mimo we decided on Forever Stone Design.
The job was a driveway for about 6 cars, a courtyard, two sides of the house and an area at the back. Mimo and his crew were all very skilled craftsmen. They created a solid base and sloped the grading to drain away the rainwater. One area on the side of the house was very difficult
and tricky as the concrete curbs had to be cut, besides we wanted the downspouts disconnected from city services and go into pipes which were to be buried and discharge into the backyard.
I left it in Mimo’s hands. His skills really shone here and he came up with a solution that looked AMAZING. Thanks Mimo ... also Gaitano and Ali, my house looks awesome because of you'll.

Forever Stone has amazing customer service and stands behind their work. Mimmo and his team constructed our stone steps and walkway years ago and over the years we have had them come by to repair weather and time related wear a few times. They always come by in a timely fashion, the work is done well, and everything is tidied up afterwards. Also very reasonably priced for great work! I would not hesitate to recommend them for all your stone work!

Forever Stone was recommended by a neighbour who had used them to rebuild their front steps and walkway. Mimo rebuilt our front steps and walkway to match the neighbours and both homes look great. Great workmanship and good value for the money.

When I decided to landscape the front yard, porch and small patio at my town house, I had three quotes from different contractors to choose from. Mimmo and his team had done a interlocking driveway, side walkway and backyard patio at my sons house. The price was a bit daunting, but I went ahead with Mimmo anyway.
After completion I noticed a grout film covering the flagstone on the porch and steps.
Since the job was done at the end of September 2017, Mimmo promised to clean it up the following year when the weather was warmer.

During the winter the steps settled, due to missing cast iron connection between the porch and the steps. A one inch gap between the top step and the porch appeared. Some pavers in front of the steps had also settled und needed to be redone . At the beginning of August 2018 Mimo and his crew repaired the uneven interlocks and cleaned up the white haze from the flagstone. Unfortunately the natural beauty of the flagstone did not re-appear, instead some of the flagstone became discolored and turn from gray to brown.

Renewed attempts in 2019 via e-mail and text to contact Mimmo for another attempt to clean the white film from the stairs. resulted in no response.

I would not recommend Forever Stone for stone work, interlocking seems to be OK.
