Window pane replacement

I phoned at 10:00 am, and had a new pane of glass beautifully installed by 4:15 pm. Polite, honest, hard working -- an absolute pleasure to work with and have already recommended fix n go to 3 people. This guy is great!!

Casement Window Repair

We had two casement windows that wouldn't close properly. I phoned Fix N Go and Terry arranged to come first thing the following morning. He surveyed the problems and then went to his van for the replacement parts. He was friendly, prepared, and professional and worked quickly and efficiently. Both windows were repaired within an hour for $260. I wouldn't hesitate to call Fix N Go again, and would highly recommend them.

Window Repair/Replacement

These are important guys to know if you're raising teenage boys! We had Fix N Go come over after several no-show's by another company to replace our neighbour's basement window. Terry answered the phone promptly when we called and more importantly showed up when promised. He arrived in a big van that had all the equipment he needed to complete the job on the spot. He did a great job, quickly and efficiently, replacing the glass in the basement storm window. It hardly took half an hour. I keep his business card handy, just in case....

Window locking system

We called to fix a defective locking mechanism on a window. On the telephone he estimated the work at $150. Next day he arrived on time and tokk 15 mintues to fix the problem. I thought $150 was steep for 15 minutes. Next day the same problem reappeared. We called and he came back to fix the problem again without a charge . A few hours later the problem reappeared. We called him and he said we had cheap windows and hung up on us. Bottom line: we lost $150 and we still have the problem.

Screen Door Maintenance and Screen Replacement

Terry from Fix N Go was a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time, and I appreciated his clean workmanship and helpful maintenance advice. The cost described for this job included replacement of two screens for a pair of sliding patio doors, the replacement (at my request) of all eight spring and roller assemblies, and installation.

Thanks Terry!

Fixed broken mechanism on a window

He spent less than a couple of minutes fixing a window mechanism and charged me $150! Even though he did a good job fixing the broken pane on my other window, I would not recommend him since $150 for 2 minutes is a complete ripp off.

three window encasements cranks broken

had 3 large encasement windows that would open up with the crank but not close. after reading the good reviews here . we called him and he said around 9 am , the next day. he showed up on the dot of nine. great fellow, i had recently tried for hours to fix these myself ( and last winter had to use coat hangers to pry the windows shut. ) he said everybody turns the cranks and when they stop they crank harder breaking them. he did all three in less than 30 minutes, and showed us how to close them in the future. He had to correct too my bent window tabs that lock the windows , when i closed them last winter . we couldn't be happier, price as quoted , on time, friendly and fast. Steve

Fix large broken glass pane on front door

Nobody from the Home Service Club got back to us for over a week, so I decided to look on Homestars.com for someone to fix the large panel of broken glass on our front door.

I called Fin'N'Go on Monday afternoon because they got good reviews, and because they could apparently fix it on the spot, which they did. Terry said for normal glass he could fix it ASAP, but for the laminated glass we wanted it would take a few hours. By Tuesday morning, the job was done in 20 minutes.

This was the most painless home fix I had ever experienced, and the door looks the same as it did before it was broken.

The only reason I gave 4/5 on satisfaction, is that in the end it did cost $400 for laminated glass, which was more than I was expecting this to cost, but I never got any other quotes, so I have no idea what the going rate would be anyway...
