My family moved from Surrey, BC to Courtenay, BC at the end of June, and I cannot say enough good things about Aron and Judit. The cost of our move was competitive (and fixed!), and we were impressed with how organized they were in providing the initial assessment, and scheduling the move (which is not easy with ferries leading into the Canada Day long weekend!). The moving team was flexible, arriving at a time that worked for our family, and very efficient. They handled our complicated, heavy wood furniture expertly and our move-out was quick. On move-in day on Vancouver Island, Aron and Judit’s team arrived promptly as scheduled, and were again very quick and efficient. Their service was excellent as they endeavored to ensure all of our furniture was placed just as we wished before their departure. While we were very pleased with the cost, speed and efficiency of our move with Ferguson, what stood out for us was the level of service. Aron and Judit were models of professionalism and politeness, setting a tone of quality service and respectful courtesy across the whole crew, which continued throughout the move-in and the move-out. I highly recommend Ferguson.

Greg and his team did a brilliant job for our recent move. We found them fast, efficient and professional. Our furniture was well protected with blanket wrapping. Boxes provided were sturdy and plentiful.
On arrival, because the slope to our house was too steep for the heavily loaded truck, the guys had to park at the bottom of the slope and push or pull trolleys up the slope which they did with such grace and cheerfulness! We were very happy with the move and would definitely recommend Fergusons.

I had five different movers quote for my move and Ferguson was the only company willing to give a fixed price up front. They were very helpful, supplied us with all the boxes we wanted ( at no extra charge) and even came in a couple of days before the move to wrap up as much of the furniture as possible so we would have a head start on loading day. That went very smoothly. The next day they unloaded from the truck and carried everything up a steep drive to the house very hard and time consuming but the guys were cheerful and positive the whole time and the move was a complete success. Not a thing scratched or broken. I will recommend them to everyone in future, thanks for making it a stress free day!

We contacted Ferguson for a quote to move our office/warehouse to a new location.
Not only did Ferguson send someone to provide the quote in person the next day, they also offered a fixed price that was lower than the several other movers we contacted.
The crew of guys provided by Ferguson was on time, polite, and very professional. We had a variety of large and awkwardly sized objects, as well as loose items, but the crew never complained or questioned anything, they just got the job done!
I have worked with a variety of movers and contractors over the years and I can say hands down these guys were among the best. I highly recommend choosing Ferguson for your move.

We moved 2 households last year, and items from one household was out in storage for 2 months.
Now that we have had more than 6 months to go through our boxes, we can safely say that items have been found missing.
I would like to post some advice for long distance moving. And learn from our mistakes.
1. Take pictures of your items
2. Label and number your boxes, and COUNT the number of boxes you have in total
3. Check off your inventory if boxes as they are being delivered to ensure that all boxes made it.

We had them load the trucks the day before the move. Perhaps not a good idea. The movers were pleasant enough though. Wish we had been smarter with our move.

I made a move from a high-rise condo to a retirement home suite. Ferguson was a great choice. Prompt and professional response to my request for a quote; on-time arrival on day of move; effective, efficient and smooth handling of the move with a very professional three-member crew. Outstanding is my rating and I would recommend them anytime. I will use them again when I have more moving to do.

Staff at Ferguson did a good job at moving our family belingings from Vancouver to Toronto. From 5 companies, their quote was the most complete, no hidden costs. We read dreadful reviews about moving long distance online, so we were very cautious with all the companies. However, Ferguson delivered in the window the promised and none of our belongings were lost. Email and phone communications were always quickly responded and in a professional manner. Coal was easy to work with and very attentive to detail. I'd recommend Ferguson for long distance moves.
