We bought a rocking chair for our nursery and were told that we should expect it to be delivered within 4-6 weeks.
Two weeks later, we passed by the store to find a note saying that they were out of business and to contact customer care. Of course, they didn't think of letting us know.
After a few days of confusion as to where the shipment will be sent, they guaranteed us that all is well and that the chair will be shipped to a warehouse in Dallas for us to pick up.
Two weeks later, I call to check on the status of the shipment and they tell me that the shipment will be delayed and that they won't be able to ship it to the warehouse.
They did agree to cancel the order, but I'm still waiting for my refund.
Had I not seen the note on their store a few weeks earlier, I would have still been waiting for my chair.
