I called Derek about trimming my 2 huge silver maples and cutting back the hedge surrounding my front yard . Derek came by the next day as promised and we went over what I had wanted done he took his time pointing out a few long limbs that should be removed and how much should be trimmed he assured me my backyard would be safe from damage as I was very worried about my gazebo , we agreed on a price and a date for the trees to be trimmed . Derek and his crew showed up on time on the day agreed and went to work on my trees . It was something to watch as his guy's went about their business in a timely manner all of them working together taking care not to damage anything . When the trees were
done Derek's guys did a great job cleaning up the mess they made , they put my lawn furniture and flower pots back in their place . I went out front and the hedge was cut back nicely with all that was going on with the trees I forgot about the hedge , looks great too . This was the second time I've called Derek for my tree's and would whole heartedly recommend Derek's Tree Service to anyone looking for tree work to be done .

Hired Derek to prune a mature pear tree and the adjacent maple tree that was growing over it . Good job and Derek stands behind his work. Clean up afterwards was spotless. Would hire him again.

We were very happy with the speed that Peter from Derek's Tree Service came out to give us a quote to have a large pine tree on our front lawn and some Manitoba maples in our parking space trimmed as well as a cedar tree removed. The quote was fine and his crew came out on time and did a great job trimming the trees and removing all the debris. Overall a great experience and we would have rated them higher, however two branches in the pine tree which were caught up in our telephone wires were not trimmed. We spoke to Peter about the oversight and he commented that they are in our area all the time and one day we would come home from work and they would be cut back. We came home from work and the remaining branches were cut back this week.... well done Derek's Tree Service!

Very happy with quick and efficient service provided. Would recommend to others. Team of 5 were done in less than an hour and cleaned up the area well when done.

I had this big ugly tree in my front yard that blocked off the front of the house that I wanted removed ASAP. My friends have even made comments on how ugly it was so I searched around for a few quotes and Derek gave me the best quote by a mile. (It was almost half of what the other companies I contacted were quoting me) Derek and his team showed up 5 minutes before the time they told me & within 10-15 minutes the tree was gone. I now have natural light coming into my living room!

Derek even made a comment about it being the ugliest Juniper he's ever seen. If a tree removal company says something like that then you know it's time to get rid of it. I would definitely recommend Derek to anyone who needs work done.

I was extremely happy with this company! They were knowledgeable, efficient and clean. I couldn't believe how fast the job got done and the price was very reasonable. I have many trees on my property and will definitely be contacting Derek again. Highly recommended.

I contacted Derek's Tree Service for an estimate, I received a call back within the hour and a time was arranged for the next day. I thought I would get a few estimates and decide on the best. After Derek's visit the next day we decided to go ahead, he was on time, no nonsense and said he would call on the weekend to arrange a date to remove the next week. He did exactly that, came with a crew at the time he said he would and also did an excellent clean up. The price was also good, I have since heard of higher prices for less of a job. I would highly recommend Derek's tree service and will certainly use again.

We called in Derek's Tree services to trim our overgrown crab apple tree. Mike from their team was prompt, gave suggestions and also gave the tree a deep root fertilization treatment. A guy from their team actually climed the tree to let me know the exact height they would trim the tree for me(and I have rose bushes below the tree).
They cleaned up well and overall left us with a very positive experience.

They came, They Saw, They Conquered! A no-nonsense company. We called a dozen places before getting a courteous call back from these guys. Mike came by the same day to give us an estimate. His crew arrived on the day-of on-time and ready to go. Our tree and the extra stumps in our yard were obliterated within 45 minutes. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled everything away. They also did not damage any adjacent trees or structures, as promised.

I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
