Our home has two furnaces. We called Lou of Dave White Heating to replace one of the furnaces a few years ago and we recently called him again to replace the second one. Both times, Lou impressed us with his prompt, courteous, reliable, and honest service. It is a pleasure dealing with him and his company. He deserves the best recommendation !

Lou at Dave White Heating installed my original 2 furnace system 10 years ago. I hire Lou to come twice a year to clean and service my furnace. During this time, I have not had any problems with my system. Lou is very punctual, efficient and a pleasure to work with. His prices are very competitive. I enjoy having Lou working in my home - he is an honest, hard working, kind man. I would highly recommend Dave White Heating!

Lou came and did several related jobs for us. He removed some old unused gas lines, ran a new gas line to the kitchen and hooked up our our new gas stove and strapped our furnace to the joists in preparation for some upcoming basement renovations. Lou was very friendly and professional. He called ahead to indicate he would be late and explained very well how he would approach the different tasks. He had me observe while he tested all the new gas connections (and some of the old ones), which I found very reassuring, and took the time to explain a few things like how to re-light the hot water tank. I was very impressed and would gladly hire him again.

Just recently purchased a home partially heated with electric baseboard heaters which required some major duct work in order to convert to forced air. After reviewing the comments on Homestars and meeting with Lou we decided on Dave White Heating. Lou, Marino, and the guys did an incredible job and we were extremely happy with their work. Not only do they do great work - they are great people as well. Would definitely recommend them!

Lou replaced my mother-in-law's old oil furnace and did a great job! The house is warmer than it has ever been. Also, Lou was the only one(after paying 2 air conditioning companies) who was able to find our leak and it has been working well since. Lou maintains our furnace now. He explains everything, is efficient and reasonable. You won't have to call anyone else after Lou has worked on your furnace/Air Conditioner.

My a/c unit conked out the first time I turned it on this year, on an extremely hot night. After sleeping with my 2-year-old daughter in the basement for the night, I called Lou the next morning based on reviews from this site and he came by that afternoon, despite an extremely busy schedule. He arrived on schedule and diligently tracked down the issue with the unit. He then cleaned out the mouse nest (!) and replaced the part they had destroyed. He even called the next day to follow up because he had come by to pick up a tool he had left behind and the unit wasn't on and he was concerned it had broken down again. Now that is service! Lou is the best, and I'll be using him again in the fall to replace the unit.

We are doing major renovations on the house we just bought, and we ran into an issue with the ductwork being of questionable quality in places. Some runs ending in open spaces in the ceiling, a lot of brackets loose or broken, leaking joints, some runs in odd places. This is a 60-year old house, so surprises like that are to be expected.

Called Lou of Dave White Heating based on reviews here on HomeStars and I am thoroughly happy that I did. He came in to take a look and uncovered more issues than we had done initially. He quickly recommended what needed to be done and quoted me a very good price.

Not long after I called him to book the work. Had to wait a week since he is a busy guy, but that wasn't a problem. One of his workers showed up on time and completed all the work in a few hours. He put in new support brackets, taped all the joints, rerouted a couple of runs, and removed and capped a useless run. Lou himself showed up to check that everything was running smoothly.

All in all it was a pleasure to work with Lou and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing this kind of work done. Will contact him again to get a new AC installed very soon!

I'm a typical DIY person, so when my Coleman furnace stopped working on Saturday, I took the User Manual and diagnosed the pressure switch isn't working. However, I have noticed a strange "gargling" sound coming from inducer’s motor assembly. I started calling Contractors to buy a new switch. That was my good luck that the second number I called was the "Dave White Heating"! Lou told me right away how to test the switch (which actually was OK) and recommended to drain the water from inducer fan first. And that was it! I can't tell how thankful I am to Lou. He is now Number 1 on my list to call for any HVAC-related staff. In fact, I would better ask Lou to do the job next time if there is a problem with furnace or AC and save half-day running around and trying to figure it out myself!

I feel very fortunate to have found Dave White Heating & Sheet Metal Ltd. Having called a number of other people to price the job, Lou's price was the best and his explanations of what and how he intended to do the job, were the clearest and least deviant from the drawings they had to go by. A few unexpected turns during the job and a special request were all handled quickly and with a smile. They were even flexible enough to leave certain portions of the job for me so I could save a few dollars. I won't hesitate to tell anyone who needs ductwork of any kind to call. I don't need to tell you about prompt, polite, quality workmanship - just read all the other reviews. I generally hire a person because I "like" them, so I'm either a good judge of character or very lucky. Either way, I doubt you'll do much better than hiring this team, and believe me when I say you can do MUCH worse. I had a quote from a competitor (if I could really call them that) for almost twice as much that would have cost me a significant amount of headroom and wanted to take a number of shortcuts besides. I saved money and got a superb job done by qualified and likable people as well as some free advice. But most importantly, I found a company that I can feel free to recommend to anyone and everyone who needs ductwork and/or heating/cooling work done. Don't read another review until you call Lou. You won't regret it!

I've had Lou do work for me on several ocassions and will continue to recommend him to friends. He has always been able to fit me into his schedule and is reasonable when it comes to estimating jobs.
