Ian, Louis, Dennis, Gerry, Danny, Jeremy and Ben.
We shopped around. Other companies provided simple designs or accepted our (ok) design. Ian looked at our design, politely said it was fine, and instantly came up with a genius design that incorporated limitations (lower than normal windows) and functionality (direction sink should face). Our 10/10 rating is not exaggerated. Our kitchen turned out to be better than we ever imagined. The team at Copacetic was simply excellent. We'll just list a few points:
1. Like we said, we shopped around and Ian quickly stood out as the only true expert. In this industry, most people order cabinets from a catalogue. If you want a company experienced at building and assembling kitchens, choose Copacetic...it makes a difference.
2. Ian gave us advice about other kitchen items, like handles, counters, appliances, etc. We never felt like we're bothering him or anyone else at the shop, although we might have with all of our questions :-).
3. The quality of the material, the stain, and the overall assembly was perfect. In fact, having the owner on site, ensuring that the work is perfect, checking every little angle, verifying every detail, was priceless.
4. Enough about Ian :-). The other staff was a pleasure to work with. Let us personally thank (in no particular order) Louis, Dennis, Gerry, Danny, Jeremy, and Ben. You were all a pleasure to work with. Louis was always assuring with a "we'll solve that" attitude. The rest of the guys that assembled the kitchen were extremly creative at problem solving. They may not have noticed it, but on a few occasions they told us "we want to make you happy." You did care and that meant a lot. We've hired good contractors but this attitude is rare and says more about this company than anything mentioned thus far.
Bottom line, this is a local Toronto business employing the smartest and the nicest people. We plan to add pictures, hopefully by March. Good luck to all!
