We lost a juniper in last weeks 30CM snow dump and it was partially uprooted and blocking in part our neighbours drive. Craig and crew at CB Trees just solved our problem. Such good service and clean up too. They will be back in the spring to get roots out and plant a replacement. 100% recommendation.

Craig came by really quickly after the heavy/wet snowfall. He removed the hanging branches and made it safe then came back and removed branched that could cause a problem in the future, removed all the branches from the ground and left my driveway neat and tidy. Great guy, very friendly and explained what he was doing so I would understand. Would hire him again. It was a smaller job considering the number of trees damaged by the storm but he treated this job as important as the bigger ones. Really appreciated that.

I found my young cat Vinny up on a tree, after looking for hours. He was up about 30 to 40 feet, begging for help. I called animal control, and they recommended CB tree service.
Craig came right away.
I found Craig to be very polite and caring. It was a very difficult job climbing up that tree, but he took his time talking to my cat, Vinny was listening, and he knew Craig was there to help him.

My daughter purchased a home with a tall pine growing 10 inches from the eavestroughs and house. Craig arrived with his team and carefully removed the tree.

He and his team are pleasant, careful and professional.

In June, Craig was out to remove a very problematic Manitoba Maple tree that was damaged by the windstorm. A major limb of the tree had broken and hung precariously over ours and the neighbour's fence/deck, at a 45 degree angle. Until he received the City's permission to remove the broken limb (but not the remainder of the leaning tree), Craig shored it, preventing it from breaking off and causing further damage.
Lately, we were concerned the remaining half of the leaning tree was unstable, therefore, obtained a permit from the City to remove it entirely. We received another, considerably higher, quote and requested Craig to do the work. There was a major obstacle with the trunk, i.e. over the years, the tree grew into the chain-link fence, embedding it within. Craig worked very hard to cut through the trunk, destroying and/or dulling several blades of his equipment (chainsaw, sawzall and stump grinder). He managed to complete the job perfectly, leaving no trace of the tree or chain-link fence.

Craig the owner did a great job pruning our 80 year old tree. He was professional, organized and made sure we understood the work he was undertaking. The job was competed in the timeframe he quoted and left our property cleaner then when he arrived. I highly recommend Craig to anyone who requires any kind of tree service.

Love these guys, they work safe, price is reasonable. They clean up after the job was completed, even help me moved some lumber to my third floor. They do a lot of work in the Annex (many old trees).

For anyone looking for tree services, you wont be disappointed. My neighbors tree needed trimming and since much was on my side as well, we both agreed to share the cost as it benefited me as well. My neighbor reached out to CB Tree Service and Craig came to assess and quote on the job and after meeting he had a feeling; he had the right person for the job. He was right, Craig and his crew are knowledgeable, safe, professional, and just genuinely good people. Craig asked what we both would like to see done and explained what and how he could do it in a way that was easy for us to understand and approximately how long it would take. They did an excellent job and cleaned up as if there was no one there. I honestly think they left it cleaner than when they arrived.
