I had to get the trees removed by on order of North York. As a woman on my own I was really worried who to get. The city came to show me which trees to cut. Craig came right after and said no problem. I paid him ahead . The price was reasonable and he called me when the trees were cut since I dont live there anymore.
There arent many professionals you can trust ,paying ahead. This time I new I could. If you get him you will know why.Elisabeth

Craig and his crew did an amazing job in our backyard. He listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions. He showed up when he said he would, called me to confirm and was on time. The crew also did a fantastic clean-up. Would highly recommend CB Tree.

I called Craig about a week ago looking for an estimate to trim two large black walnut trees in my back yard that were growing over the roof and my neighbours house. He arrived and took the time to speak to me directly about what I wanted done while we could both see the trees. The price that was quoted was 20-40% lower than quotes I had recieved from other tree services.

The actual cost came in exactly to the estimate Craig and I had previously discussed. The quality of the work delivered was excellent my yard was cleaned and they even took the time to put all of my patio furniture back in place.

I would definitely not hesitate to utilize CB Tree again in the future.

I just wanted to say how pleased I was at the services and prices that C B Tree did this wknd. We had a tree blow onto our roof, it was one part of a tree that had three separate stocks to it. Afraid that the other parts would fall also, I asked for an estimate on the rest. The price was great, in fact he probably underpriced himself. The guys were here all day Saturday worked through the hours of rain and due to the nature of the job, came back Sunday and finished the job. When they finished, we realized that another of the trunks was ready to fall and would have hit not only my house but the neighbours also. A great job done with professionalism. Thanks so much guys. I'd give you a 10+ on this one.

We have a 60 foot evergreen tree that is half dead but, city of Toronto by-laws will not allow us to cut it down. I was worried about the wind blowing the tree over onto our house. Craig cut off dead branches from top bottom removing the dead weight. The tree looks much less ominous now. Craig's service was professional the process took longer than he anticipated but he stuck to the quoted price(which was very reasonable). Craig and his crew cleaned up and removed all the debris. CB Tree comes highly recommended.

I called Craig and within 2 hours he came and gave me a quote. Craig is very professional and an expert in the field. I called for a few quotes and by far he was the cheapest.

I had a very big tree in my front yard and I feared that cutting it down will cause some damage but Craig was able to do the job flawlessly, he was quick, he left no mess behind and best of all, he left with a SMILE :)

I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs any tree cutting type of work. Even my neighbors came over and saw his professionalism, they even gave him work.

We had a tree that was rotting and unsafe. Craig arrived and gave me an excellent quote to remove the tree, also I had him remove a tree at my in-laws. Craig and crew arrived and within 20 mins removed my in-laws tree. They did a first class job removing the tree and cleaning up the mess, when my in-laws didn't complain about anything, I knew they had done a good job.
After that they did my tree, and again a great job.

Called CB Tree experts and got quote at my house on same day (Sunday).

Price was good. Trees were trimmed and caterpillar nests removed.
Backyard was cleaned up. Happy with service.

I called Craig back this year to give me a quote on a minor job. He told me he would come by on the weekend. Never came or called. Showed up unannounced told me he would do the work for 225 but I had to change my Homestar rating from a 9 to a 10. I Expressed my agitation with this and the fact that he had not returned my calls and still wants a 10. I then asked if he was going to be able to do the work for sure by Tuesday or should I call someone else incase. He said ... "If I say Tuesday then for sure we will do it"... We agreed he would come Sunday or Monday. I called today to confirm that the neighbours were good too and ask if he was bonded and was told I think so and his assistant rushed me off the phone as though I was annoying her and told me he would get back to me. He calls tonight saying he is returning my call and then proceeds to tell me he would not be doing the job. I told him it leaves me high and dry now given I needed it done by Tuesday and he had given me his word and asked me to change my rating. He then tells me he had a death in the family. Despite this not adding up to me I had another friend who was looking for a tree company call and ask if he would do some work for him in the next three or four days... he replyed yes. I phoned him back to ask him why he is willing to do the work for them and not us... he said "it was sooo obvious that was my friend"..and hung up on me. Still confused I called back to ask him why he was doing this.. he said to "bug my ass" I emailed him and called again to find out why but wouldn't respond so I can only assume he was not happy with my concerns about his wanting a 10 when he wouldn't even return my calls. Unfortuneately I am now left without a person to do the last minute work and will definitely be warning my friends about this one.

Craig removed four Hawthorn trees from our backyard and beat the competing prices by 20%. He also did some extra branch chipping at no extra cost, which saved me a ton of work. The team was efficient, clean and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend them and use them again, but just be aware that Craig is very busy so you might need to be proactive about calling him to stay on top of scheduling (our job was relatively small, so it was squeezed between other jobs; I had to call several times to find out when they were actually coming; in the end it was done two days after the proposed time frame). But, their service for the price was excellent. Thanks so much, Craig.
