These are the last windows in the house that were original to the home. THey were in the family room and this is simultaneously one of the most used rooms in the house and the coldest room in winter. Even with the fireplace it takes a while to heat up. THe new windows have a high energy star rating making them eligable for the higher provincial rebate. Canadian Choice windows was able to match the color of our existing windows. Some windows companies suggested we paint the windows which was a non-starter for us. THe salesperson, Ed, was fantastic. Knew his windows and wasn't trying to claim that they were the only company with this quality window (some did).

Windows quality and price is very good. The waiting period was longer than expected and it was hard for us to get a decent update on eta. Otherwise I am satisfied with the service and would recommend this company to people who are not in rush to get their project completed.

From start to finish the experience was great. The sales process was easy as Mike was helpful and offered very good advice. The final measuring process was very fast and easy.
The installation process was great as the team was polite and very professional.

Finally, we couldn't be happier with the products and the final result.

Replace half the windows on the second floor, products are quite nice and the install team was great!

The installers did an excellent job. I asked them to replicate some existing, complex trim (for an extra fee). They installers did so with diligence. They were attentive to what I had to say and took time to carefully match the existing trim. I am very happy with the results.

I am also mostly happy with the windows. The larger hung windows in the master bedroom don't open all the way, which they said is normal. However my existing Jeld-Wen windows open all the way, as do the smaller ones in the kids's bedrooms, so its clearly possible. This was a bit disappointing, but they open far enough, so its not a huge deal. Otherwise we're quite happy with the windows.

Also note that they don't paint the interior trim (which is normal - no-one paints the trim, but I didn't know that) so keep that in mind.

I found a better quote elsewhere and the professional who came harrassed me for days and then REFUSED to cancel the order. Saying that I had to call various sub-contractors myself.
I canceled within the 10 days so this is EXTREMELY unprofessional behavior.

Our windows were in dire need of being replaced. It took eight months for the entire process. They were installed in early spring. The weather was a big factor due to having to replace approximately 30 windows. Stan did his best to coordinate a style of windows that not only are very beautiful and suited to our house but cost effective also. Yuri came to measure and install with Kyle and Alex. They did a wonderful job installing. They were very careful, respectful, pleasant and worked diligently to get a very large job done one day early. Although it was a very messy job they did their best to clean up after themselves and protect our belongings.
We had to replace the handles on our sliding doors, Stan came to replace one of them within a few weeks of the install.
