I called Flavio after reading reviews on Homestars when I needed some general plumbing to be done on an older house we had just bought. Flavio was unbelievably helpful through the whole process - he always explained everything to me so I understood exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it, and he really went out of his way to help us out. He showed up when he said he was going to show up, priced himself very competitively, and went the extra mile (e.g. breaking up a concrete sink and disposing of it, because we'd already gotten rid of our disposal bin). Plus the work was done well, on time, and everything was always cleaned up beautifully. I would recommend Flavio to friends & clients and I will use him again in the future.

He fixed the problem very quickly and was flexible in helping us with a couple of other small plumbing issues we hadn't told him about in advance - he replaced a second faucet in another bathroom and tightened a kitchen faucet that had been installed poorly by someone else. I've worked with many tradespeople - having gone through a recent renovation - and Flavio was one of the most professional I've dealt with. If you're looking for a plumber, Flavio's a real find.

I recently had a major leak secondary to a broken toilet valve. The water damage was cleaned up by my condo, but I needed a plumber to replace the toilet valve. I thought it would be fairly straightforward, but it turned out to be more complicated than initially planned because I evidently have a non-standard toilet and it turned out there was a problem with the shut-off valve as well. Flavio did a thorough job, and explained everything along the way. He handled everything with patience/humour, and even helped me deal with the condo maintenance staff. I would definitely recommend him to others and would use him again in the future.
