Bedroom set and tv console

We purchased a bedroom set and we were told we would get it with a few weeks. Well it was more than a few months. We just moved into our new house so we were living out of suitcases. The mattress came but it was horrible and still is. It is lumpy and we are in pain getting out of bed each morning. Left several messages and no one has returned our calls. They were so polite when we were purchasing after we paid it was like they never knew us. Absolutely appalling. The console has bubbles in it and was a pain in the neck trying to put it together.
For the money we paid we are so disappointed. We would never go back.

7 Seater Sofa Set

Well I would give a lower score if it was available.

Reason: Our family had purchased a sofa set. Apparently they didn't have part of the set. As per the sales rep they need around a months time for the set to be completed. We get a call after a month that they need another month. No concessions offered.

Well all in all long story short. Bad customer service. Lack of commitment.

There are better options out there or better try another store of Bricks but not this one. BUT if u really need or want to buy from here make sure its in stock and don't bother for warranty as after sales service is non existing.

Damaged Furniture

I purchased a coffee table and side tables in Dec of 15. I have return the furniture 4 times as they came damaged for Surrey BC store ( warehouse and till now I am still waiting for now furniture. The person dealing with this issue told me that the store manager does not want to speak with me, no district manager will call me, and the head office will not bother. I have left messages with head office to call me. I am stuck.

No Returns?????

I bought a coffee table set and decided to return it. We never even opened the box. When I called to find out how to do this, I was shocked to hear they don't take returns! I argued enough to work my way up to talking to the store manager. When I finally pointed out that no where in the store, or on my invoice, does it say that I can't return my purchase, so that legally I CAN return it, he finally relented.
I've never heard of any retail store selling regular priced merchandise and not allowing returns. I will NEVER even look at The Brick for furniture shopping again!

Worst. Service. Ever

I bought a sofa online in Brick. The delivery was 4 hours late, incomplete and the sofa is defective.
When I placed the order I reviewed the delivery terms on their website. It clearly says that if its an upholstery item they would unwrap it, place it and install the legs. Term and conditions are here:

The delivery was scheduled for today. Yesterday they didn't call to confirm the time frame, so this morning I called to the store and I was told that the truck was on its way and my time block was from 10:30 to 1:30.... The truck arrived at 3:10pm, the two men just dropped the box on the floor and they left. They didn't do the installation (as stated on their website) and they didn't even gave me a copy of the delivery note or invoice. ZERO proof of delivery.
Anyways, I unwrapped the sofa and when installing the legs I found out that the sofa do not have one of holes to screw the leg. I took a deep breath and I called the store and the lady told me that she was busy and couldn't take my claim. I called again one hour later and I got the same response. Last time I called she told me to call again tomorrow because she is too busy to take my claim. So I email them through their website because they don't have any other email address or phone number I can call to.
I hope people read these reviews before buying in Brick... I didn't and here I am with a defective sofa purchased in Brick and crossing my fingers to get a decent response from them.

I comfort mattress

Brick say best warrany in business been almost a year of complaints had tech out say it is no good 3 times still no results from brick ? Never see my money ever again

Bedroom suit poor quality

Do not ever buy anything from the Brick.
Their 3 day warranty if they are notified within 3 days of delivery of damaged furniture cannot be resolved as they would not answer phone calls to the store for days and when I finally got a hold of the sales rep, she told me I must send a picture of the damage to their email address which I did within the three day window, however they do not respond to your emails.
Tried calling complaining to the furniture service dep. who also would not help! I give up after 2 months and will try and fix the furniture myself.

Washer and Dryer

We purchased a set of washer and dryer on boxing day at the Burlington store. The washer was delivered first bec the dryer was not readily available. The delivery helper was rude. He asked me if what they are doing is easy. I said it looked simple to install it although i have not installed a washer in my entire life. He rudely said if I think it was easy, I can do it myself. I told him I paid them for delivery and installation. After 2 weeks, they delivered the dryer, same guys. Again, since I have not installed a dryer before, I didn't know how to take off the vent from the back of the old dryer. One guy patiently took it off. It took him a while bec the vent was weirdly installed bec the dryer was far from the exhaust. The rude helper came in, asking what's taking him long. He then rudely asked.me what's going on. He said I shuld have done it myself. He was yelling at me inside my house. Of course I would not let anyone disrespect me inside my house, in front of my wife and child. I yelled back letting him know he has no right to disrespect me. He said since I was upsetting him, it is not going to be done. So he did refuse to deliver eventhough the other guy was able to finish the vent (with my assistancw, btw). I called the store manager a couole of times and even went to see him at the store. He assured me it will be delivered again soon. In 2 weeks, no one called back so I decided to call and request for delivery date, the rep confirmed he set it up for the 23rd as I requested. A few days later, they called me back asking a delivery date again. I said it was set to the 23rd already. After 2 days they called me again saying my dryer is READY FOR PICK UP. I told them again that it was set for the 23rd of january. Now, I am calling the store manager to confirm the delivery date and make sure there will be no mix ups, they hung up on me TWICE!!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

Dining room set that will never be a complete set

Long story short. Delivery of dining set. Hutch damaged. Chair damaged at delivery. Ok arrange for delivery of new hutch. New hutch damaged. Chair damaged. Ok third time. Hutch perfect chair perfect. Delivery guys drag hutch across servery damage servery. Now waiting on a new servery. I told my wife we will spend a good amount of money and buy a good set. Well wasn't I wrong. If they send another damaged one. They can take it all back .

appliances mattress

DON'T DON'T DON'T (I cannot emphasize enough) shop at The Brick in Chilliwack. You will be sorry. In last 3 yrs we made 3 large purchases - a mattress - a washer - & the other day an upright freezer. The mattress was defective (I know, hard to believe), it had a huge lump, no one could have slept on it. They took it back so that wasn’t too bad. The washer, they delivered the wrong one, which they wanted us to keep. We returned it & cancelled our order as it was going to take weeks to get the one we had ordered. More fool us for ever going back there, but we did for an upright freezer shown in their sales flyer. The day of delivery, we emptied our old freezer & had all our food in boxes on the kitchen floor & our old freezer had been picked up for disposal. The freezer arrived so damaged that the door could not close properly so we did not accept it. We immediately went to the store (we live 8 minutes from the store) & told the store manager that we would take the floor model – he said OK but that we would have to find a way, at our expense, to have it delivered (we are 70 yrs old). That was the only solution he had to offer. We canceled our order & managed to find storage for our food (4 neighbours saved our food). Fools that we are, we should never have gone back to that store a 3rd time, but NEVER again. We are on a mission to warn as many people as possible – DON’T SHOP AT THE BRICK!
