Highly recommend Better Contracting. We used them for our new roof and they did a fantastic job. The crew were super professional and used only the top materials. Weve had quite a few neighbours comment on it and ask us who we used. Wouldnt hesitate to use Mike and his crew!

Only roofing company that returned my calls. Quote was fair and clearly explained and accurate; all questions answered all my questions with photos to support options. Great communication with Russ. Adaptable when other unrelated issues arose.

Had a eavestrough replaced and a small hole in the roof repaired. Crew that came did a great job - it was quick, well done, mess cleaned up and they were super nice guys to deal with. My only complete is that it took a week longer than promised to do the repair and it was difficult to reach the owner once he committed to to do the work and didn't show. It was resolved eventually but not before a little stress in wondering if they were still going to do the work.

The entire team at better contracting were amazing. Mike and Murray were wonderful to work with. The roofers explained the entire process again on the day of install. Throughout the process, there was no debris around the house. They were very detailed oriented during the install. All in all it was a wonderful experience and the roof looks amazing.

We needed some advice regarding a job that was done by another company. (roofing) on our home. We had the pleasure of speaking to Mike who was not only extremly knowledgable but was also very kind and patient to answer all of our concerns and questions. Mike (owner) answered the phone and sent a crew by our house right away to check out a leak we noticed. The crew was professional and courteous and dealt with the issue promptly. I called on 17 May to report that about five shingles in a row let go and had slid down. They were installed in 2017 with the installation still under warranty.
One of the crews arrived the same day and quickly fixed the problem. A shout out to Robert who was friendly, knowledgeable and skilled.
Excellent service! I recommend this company for any job you may have.

Just had Better Contracting Services do our roof after wind damage last year, and we had the most positive experience. We went with Landmark shingles and Better Contracting Services is one of a few companies that are certified by Certainteed to install Landmark and pass on their extended 4 star warranty. Got four quotes from roofers certified by Certainteed, and their price was the best. They also offered a discount to do the job in early spring (although we ended up doing it in early May for reasons not related to the company), and also agreed to upgrade liner to Diamond Deck, and to add 3 extra vents for exhaust fans, all at no extra cost. The installation was fast, professional and looked like quality, detailed work to me.
Most importantly, the people in the company are what makes such a difference. Mike the owner, took time to speak to me multiple times and personally returned calls, which shows a level of care and commitment that is very hard to match, especially in a company of this size. Murray did the initial quote, addressed all our questions, and made no less than 3 additional trips to deliver shingle samples, including some hard to get varieties. Sarah who takes care of paperwork, has been great. Last but not least, Robert and his installation crew did a very nice and thorough job, the roof looks great, and should be good for many years. Overall, great experience with Better Contracting Services, they truly stand behind their name!
