Broken Dresser

After the worst move of our entire lives, we were glad to finally be settled into our new place.

More than a month later, my brother's clothes are still on the floor.

Why are my brother's clothes on the floor you ask?

Well, that's because your delivery guys decided to drop off a product that was busted.

It's broken.

It was broken as soon as we opened it - the bottom drawers are completely toast on his dresser.

Did I mention he has progressive Multiple Sclerosis and is clinically blind?

This thing is as good as a dart board, to give you a clear picture.

I paid $50.00 for delivery by the way.

We received this broken dresser on the 21st of April/2013, it is now May 02/2013, that's two weeks by the way, with zero result!

So my mom gets into touch with Rimpi - who tells us a refund is not an option.

She also says she is unable to open the photos that I have sent as a .JPG file over gmail.
I'm sorry, GMAIL and .JPG are one of the most used tools in the Western continent. I also resent a single photo to her and asked her to confirm that she was able to view the attachment - she never replied.

My mom has also spoken with Nittan from the Dundas Street store, on more than one occasion, and could not do anything for us.

THIS is the kind of customer service you get?

WOW, my mind is absolutely blown right now.

I would like this resolved today - I want my money back, for the absolute piece of junk sitting in my brother's room taking space. I also want it picked up, since it was your employees who so kindly dropped it off in it's current condition.

We have been given the runaround, and back and forth, non stop, and I will not be treated like some bum who did not pay for this product.

We paid for this product, I didn't walk out the front door without paying, and this is a democracy.

You delivery a faulty product to a customer, this is the exact result you will get.

Again, I want this resolved in the next 24 hours.

Childs Chest

lm very disappointed in there delivery service. They delivered a chest and side table to my home starched (8-10 huge marks) on my hardwood floors, and didn't say a word about the damage they caused. After leaving the room they gave me a release form to sign and told me that l should buy pads for my chest """ thanks after you just ruined my floors" !! the chest was delivered when l asked them if they would take off the wrapping they informed me they don't do that. Once they left and l was able to unwrap my chest I noticed all the damage they cause to the room. Well thanks for the horrible service Bad Boy l wouldn't order or buy anything from you again that horrible you fully know you damaged my rooms and now you don't want to pay or do anything to fix it. After talking to someone he informed me there is nothing l can do because l signed the form and that its part of their training to tell me about buying pads for the chest but it isn't part of there job to tell me they ruined my floors, or that the form is also to confirm they didn't cause damage. Not only that with pictures with a time stamp of 5 mins after they left to confirm they ruined my floors with the Chest half wrapped with plastic in the background. Also the form in the store states that you pretty much have to sign or they will take back your stuff!!! !! Never again will l buy, rent, take borrow use anything from BADBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY AGAIN...yea they are bad for sure

Bedroom set

I received my order damaged called customer service told service order is on the way, he came and he could not fix it defective and told it is going to take 4/8 weeks to order the parts when I asked to speak to manager Rosemary customer service agent said even the manager can not do anything when I installed she hangs up the phone on me my. Not Happy at all. If this is the way you treat your customers I would not recommend anyone. I need great customer service to come back for my next project

3 piece sofa set

We bought a 3 piece sofa set in nov 2012 and in 3 months seats started going in, armrest started falling out and the separation between seats started increasing. after complaining to BadBoys, they sent 2 tech and they checked and stated the sofa does not look 6 months old. But still Bad boys tell em manufacture is not ready to do anything so they cannot do anything. I did send picture proving the defects but still the company is not taking action. they sold me extra warranty also. I think Bad boys only want to take money and not give service

Appliances

We purchased all of our appliances for our new home from bad boy, the appliances were delivered but not installed right away. When we went to install the microwave it was missing an internal piece that allows you to fasten the microwave to the cabinet, when we called bad boy their customer service department were very rude and just forwarded the call to Electrolux without even telling me. Electrolux then said they would send out the part and we would have to take apart the microwave to install it ourselves. This is unacceptable! The microwave was never used or installed and we have to take it apart and reassemble it! We purchased over 5k worth of appliances and this is the service we get! I will make sure that everyone I know will never purchase from bad boy again. Any other store would have replaced the unit as bad out of box.

Sectional Sofa

I ordered a sectional from Bad Boy in October 2012. I could not have been more clear as to the model I wanted, as it was the EXACT SAME as the floor model. The sectional and 3 additional throw pillows were to be made and so I was told it would take 4 - 6 weeks. When my order arrived, it was missing a piece. I went back to the store to complain and was told the sales agent had not placed an order for the middle connecting piece and I would have to pay additional funds for that piece (although I was under the impression my order was already paid in full as I had ordered the SAME orientation as the floor model and now I had to pay more) and wait another 4 - 6 weeks to have it delivered. I told them that was unacceptable and so they would put a "rush" on it. After this, I had to wait another 8 weeks for the middle piece of the couch! This was not a "rush" order. Yet, the throw pillows had still not arrived! It is now April 2013 - 6 months after the initial order was placed and I still don't have my pillows and NO ONE at the store or customer service is taking any onus on rectifying this issue for me. I have paid for this order in full and have not received the product nor adequate customer service to rectify this issue! I will never be buying from Bad Boy again and I will ensure to let everyone know not to purchase from them either. This is absolutely unacceptable and the poorest service I have ever received. I furnished an entire house from various furniture retailers and have not had any issues with the others. Thank goodness I only bought a sofa from Bad Boy.

leather sofa and chair

I bought a Canadian-made leather sofa and chair from Bad Boy, along with an extended protection plan. In less than 5 years the 'leather ' was cracking and peeling. I've bought many leather products in the past and I've never seen any of them crack and peel so badly. I strongly believe that I was sold vinyl furniture, but lead to believe that it was leather. Everyone who comes in to my home, enters the formal living room first, and it's very embarrassing to have them see the ugly furniture, amongst my beautiful grand piano and the limited edition prints on the wall. After almost a year of dealing with 3 different store managers, Head Office, and BBB, Bad Boy has refused to stand behind the protection plan or the furniture. I'm very disappointed in their lack of care and concern for their customers. I certainly can't afford to buy new furniture for my formal living room, which is rarely even used, every 4 years.

We are very sorry that you are not satisfied with your purchase. The extended warranty takes effect once the initial 1 year manufacturer warranty has expired. I see that although your damages were not covered under the extended warranty that the Lastman’s Bad Boy customer care contacted the supplier on your behalf, to which they (the supplier) offered you a possible solution for replacement at a depreciated value, that was in early March. Samsung Washing Machine

We purchased an $800 top of the line, "Top Rated" , Samsung washing machine. From the day it was installed it was not working properly. No clothes came out remotely clean, my clothes from the gym even still had actual deodorant on them!

In our first visit back to the store, we were ignored and dismissed by the staff. Finally we were referred to the 'manager' who said that it was out of their hands, and was now the manufacturers issue. After numerous subsequent visits to the retail store in hopes of getting a new machine, we soon realized that BAD BOY does not provide Customer Service in ANY FORM. After they had made the sale, they wanted nothing to do with us. Only 5 weeks old now, we have continually read the manual over and over again to see if we were not using the settings properly. I guess this is the reason why they call themselves “BAD BOY”.

Here we are now setting up a claim for this "Top of the Line", $800 washing machine. The machine does not seem to rinse the soap and softener from the clothes, the rinse cycle is not working properly, the drum does not seem to fill enough water to even cover the clothes.

Being sold a lemon and having to go to the Laundry Mat at $8.00 a load and with 5 people at home is very frustrating and costly. The immediate action of BAD BOY would be appreciated.
After this experience, we would demand of any reputable company to offer us a full refund on the product. However, from Bad Boy we, at the very least, can only hope to exchange the machine for another model. My family members and I have taken to various social media outlets in hopes of gaining Bad Boy's attention to the situation, if not to at least deter our friends and family from making the same mistake. If this issue is resolved by Bad Boy in the manner which we speak of, we will consider taking such public commentaries down.

Whole House Furniture Purchase

In February I made a furniture purchase at Bad Boy. I bought into the no payments for six months plan and thought I would have until August 9 to pay it off. Then on Monday I received a bill in the mail for 15 dollars. I didn't know what that would be for so I figured I would stop in there this weekend to figure it out. But today (Friday) I received a call saying my account was in arrears. How could my account be in arrears if it was not due until August 9? I haven't even received my order yet. So I called my own store (they said they couldn't help me), the corporate office (they said "we'll call you back", and they never did).

Poor service, very poor

Bought major appliances, and 2 king sets and 1 queen set Jan 2013. Nothing was delivered at once, always missing some pieces.

Paid for setup fee, delivery guys refused to setup. I requested refund, no money refunded as of today. Hardwood floor was damaged by delivery guy, sent pic to customer service, no response.

The queen set was a pain in the butt too, the side rails were delivered 2 months ago, and headboard and footboard came 3 weeks ago, and they DON'T fit. Called again to have a technician come over and take a look, been 3 weeks, no one contacted me.

Called again yesterday, promised someone would call me back the same day, still no one contacted me.

This is a seriously bad experience for me!! Good job, BAD BOY!!
