The Astron team was great. I have used them before in the past and have always been more than satisfied. This time, I needed a ceiling fan installed and they were so professional and did an amazing job. I also had some additional work that needed to be done and they did willingly. I would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

Astron Electric is a common name in out household. All work has been done through Astron over the years, whether it be installation of a high end chandelier, kitchen track lighting, outdoor motion light installation to any other electrical upgrades. Alex offers superior service and his knowledge of the field is very helpful. On numerous occasions he has offered design advice; which has proven to be extremely helpful. He is a master of his trade. Truly you pay for what you get. Professional, reiable service at a reasonable rate. Highly recommended to anyone needing work done at their home or business.

From booking to estimate to job completion, the service was flawless. Ted quoted within 15 minutes. Alex, Dino and Nick showed up on time and completed the job. Job was completed to perfection. All recommendations from the team were bang on. Team was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and cleaned up afterwards. They were a pleasure to do business with from start to finish.

Astron Electric did all my electrical work for the basement. Alex and his did an amazing job! The team was very professional, efficient, reliable and honest. All the work was done ahead of schedule and no surprises with the quote. During the initial consultation Alex provided me with advice on what fixtures to buy and where to place them. He took his time explains things which most contractor won't do. When the work was complete they cleaned up after themselves. Needed an electrician for a very small job. Bathroom fan was over 30 years old and no replacement parts available. The tech's innovative solution saved me from ripping out my entire bathroom ceiling.
Service was done in an occupied apartment. Worksite was very clean and took all the garbage with them. Would definitely use them again.

We hired Astron Electric based on recommendations from friends. The day after Boxing day, four guys showed up at our home. In 4 days time, they had replaced all the knob and tube with new wiring, installed all additional lighting and circuits that we requested. Most impressively, they were able to install 8 pot lights into a stucco ceiling and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Alex was open to amendments to the contract on the fly and was very personable. We were very impressed with the work ethic of the team and are so happy with the outcome! Our home is now bright and warm. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again.

We called Astron electric to replace our old and warn down electrical panel. They arrived on time and ready to go. They're attitude was very professional very clean and very efficient. Not only did they fix the issue they suggested ways to improve the lighting space in the house. I highly recommend Astron electric and will be using them in our further renovations.

We have used Aston twice now to replace fixtures in our Condominium. One of the fixtures required an outlet relocation, which requires surface mounted conduit installation. This was all done neatly & professionally.I would recommend them to anyone needing professional electrical work done.

Although I have used this company in the past, my most recent experience with them could have been deadly, and family members have urged me to warn others not to use this firm. I hired Astron Electric Ltd., because I felt that a professional electrician would do a safer job than a home handyman; I was wrong in this case.

The owner, Ted, did the quote, but he sent his son, Kris, a qualified electrician, and 2 assistants to do the actual work. The helpers did a great job of installing the outside vent for the fan, and the electrician did the upgraded wiring for our stove, without any problem. The trio was polite and cleaned the work area. They had to return to install the microwave, because an overhead cupboard was required to anchor the unit. Once the cupboard was installed, the same trio returned.

Whether through arrogance or stupidity, the power was not turned off to our brand new glass top stove, while the microwave was being installed. I had folded and placed a thick felt moving pad over the stovetop, to protect it. I also asked that nothing be placed on top of the stove, because I didn't want any damage to occur. Despite this request, apparently the box with the microwave in it, which was quite heavy, was placed on the stovetop. Someone leaned against the control for one of the burners and turned it on, without realizing it. With the box on top of the protective pad, no one noticed that a fire had started, until they smelled fumes from the burning pad.

I was upstairs, but heard a commotion in the kitchen, and when I came downstairs, one of the men was hauling the protective pad outside. I was told that everything was fine, but I noticed the burn hole through 4 layers of fabric and could detect a burning smell. I later also discovered a burnt towel, that I had been using for cleaning, buried under leaves in the backyard; I can only conclude that these workers were going to try to hide evidence of what had occurred, if they could. And, although Kris scrubbed vigourously at the burner, where the fire had occurred, the pad had actually melted onto it, leaving a dullness not evident on the other burners of our brand new $2,000.00 stove.

Kris did not charge me for 2 dimmer replacements ( a value of $60.00,)
as some form of good will, but I never heard back from Ted after telling him what had happened. As well as losing our home and contents, my daughter and I, and our 3 pets, who were all upstairs, could have burnt to death, because the professionals whom I hired, failed to take basic safety precautions. Not a good recommendation for any company.

I contacted Astron to come and quote a job to install electrical wiring to a domed ceiling in my dining room, install a chandelier, switch out two fixtures and install swivel potlights, install two dimmers, replace an electrical box and re-attach a coach light on the back side of my home

Alex came out to see the scope of work and provide a quote. He gave me an honest and frank assessment of what needed to be done, how it would be done and provided me with an email quote a couple of days later. The quote seemed reasonable and Alex seemed knowledgable and professional.

I called him and confirmed I would like to proceed with the job. Alex and his team attended and performed the work in a single afternoon. The quality of the work was excellent and Alex and was to deal with throughout. He was patient in answering questions and responsive when I made inquiries in the week leading up to his attendance. The work was complete and Alex stuck to the quote. I would recommend him and Astron and would not hesitate to usem them in the future if I require electrical services.
