Acorn Wood Floors

Thanks to Ron & his team for restoring our abused (pets, kids, bikes, roller blades !) Walnut wood floors. They did an outstanding job, on time, on budget and were very pleasant to have working in our home. We've used Acorn before and have always been very happy with their work & professionalism.

Ron and his crew sanded and restrained all of our maple hardwood in our home. It had severely yellowed over the years and had lots of stains and gouges. They did an excellent job and it looks marvelous. I am extremely happy with the service we received from start to finish. They worked with our contractor and the end result is exactly what I wanted. I researched other companies as well and found Acorn Flooring had the best customer service of any of the other companies and the price was excellent and the job was done on time. It truly was a great experience dealing with Acorn Flooring and I would highly recommend them. I am attaching a before and after picture, keeping in mind our contractor still has to put all the floor molding back but you will see the difference and it is night and day.

Floor was installed by Ron’s dad in the early 80’s and we have had them maintained by the family since we purchased the house 20 years ago. They were one of the reasons we bought the house and still look as good as new thanks to the efforts of Acorn floors. Highly recommend this company

Acorn Wood Floors did an amazing job installing new hardwood and vinyl floors for our family. Ron and Sandy are very friendly and it was a pleasure working with them. We had a quote for new replacement floors (not even wood) and then had a quote from Acorn to repair very old oak floor, repair bad squeaks, replace wood in damaged areas and refinish the existing wood. It was half the price of a new floor and looks fabulous. We have retained the look of the 1955 house including the striped edging that was popular in the day. The crew were on time and cleaned up with very little dust in the remainder of the house. Everyone I dealt with was professional and accomodating to our situation. I would highly recommend them if you want to keep your old wood floors.

The floor was badly pitted from previous owners dogs as well as deep gouges from a chair.
The floor looks like new. To our surprise, there was almost no dust.

Adding new wood to a room we had enlarged, then sanding and finishing the whole room.

I’m very pleased to have found Acorn Floors. This is a family owned and run business, which I appreciate. Ron (the owner) is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to reply to any questions. We replaced our upper floor carpeting with a quality engineered wood floor that is superior to many others I found at other larger floor dealers. And at a better price. The installers were very professional and my new floors look great! We will definitely be using Acorn in the future for our main level flooring.

Especially thankful for the extraordinary prep work of removing our old 5 layers of kitchen flooring before installing this extremely durable floor for our heavy footed high traffic area.
