We have been clients since the mid 1970s and have always found A-1 Air to be reliable, honest and very professional in their service and sales. They have been maintaining our air conditioner and furnace for years and when we needed to replace the furnace 7 years ago we called them. Recently we needed to replace our air conditioner and did not hesitate to call them. Robert helped us with our options and Mike did a great job of installing and quickly followed up with the extra component to ensure that we were up and running in time for the hot weather. Mike the tech who attended my service for the a/c was promptly on time. He was very courteous at the door and took off his work boots
upon entering the home.Providing a complete inspection inside and out even helping me hook up our garden hose to flush the unit outside.I was most impressed with his professionalism and requested I might obtain his services next time.

Called A1 to quote on replacing furnace (almost 20 years old).
Salesperson was very helpful and came back on a Sunday to answer questions and finalize things. Decided on a Daikin as my neighbor was extremely pleased with his. The service techs were on site at the arranged time (even a few minutes early) and did a great job. They were able to get the venting pipes through the brick/concrete at exactly the area we wanted, even though it was a bit difficult.

Called A1 at 8:30am and service repairman arrived at 11:00am. Noise was from the cond. pump and was replace under out Super Care Warranty. Mike was very courteous, informative and even explained our computerize thermostat to us as he notice we had a notification on it.
Very pleased with this company and I always recommend them to friends and family.

Replaced 20 year system with the Daikin (very quiet and efficient). Jeff Smith was professional, informative and responsive. Even though A1 was slightly higher than the competition I felt they were honest and straightforward and worth the small premium. This experience carried through with scheduling and with the installers. They were efficient and respectful of our home, leaving the place clean after the job was complete. Follow up quality inspection happened as committed and a minor issue was fixed right after the inspection. I would highly recommend A1 to anyone considering a furnace and AC.

We researched 3 companies, including our current provider A1 Air Conditioning & Heating, and obtained quotes to replace our ancient air conditioning unit and old furnace. In the end, we stayed with A1. Their quote fell in the middle, but their equipment warranty and ongoing maintenance package were superior, as was the professionalism and expertise shown by their senior consultant, Jeff Smith.

Yesterday, we had the our old equipment removed and new reconfigured and streamlined equipment installed ... all up and running smoothly in half a day. Before the installers left, the equipment was successfully tested and we were given a tutorial on our new toy, the Nest thermostat.

This was not a cheap home improvement project, but one that will reduce our energy costs over the years to come ... a worthwhile investment.

Needed noise in furnace checked and annual ac cleaning. Work was done within a couple of days of my rust and was done professionally and quickly. The customer service person, Emily, was excellent too. I highly recommend this organization.
