Our Heating system was checked over today by John, #79466, we have always been pleased with A 1, Service engineers they are very friendly and efficient, often providing useful tips to help us look after our home, etc.

My parents recommended A-1 to us quite a few years ago when we needed a/c service and we found out that the company that had installed out heating and a/c equipment had gone out of business. My furnace was installed some years ago by Mike of A1 after he discovered a dangerous leak in my old furnace which the previous servicing company had either overlooked or didn't check. Ever since then the unit has been serviced to my complete satisfaction by Mike , John D or one of their colleagues to my complete satisfaction.
I have never experienced a breakdown of any kind and the one request for service outside of routine service was responded to promptly.
I have nothing but good things to say about A1 and its people.

Have central air supplemented by Mitsubishi split system/ductless air conditioning units. Beyond cleaning the ductless filters regularly, it turns out that they also need annual or bi-annual professional cleaning. Who knew? (A1 did not sell me those units).
After 12 years the Mitsubishi's were not working so well.

While most companies would recommend a full replacement, A1 service tech Theo offered (reluctantly as he could not guarantee a fix) to try chemical cleaning to see if he could restore the machines. Significant amount of work and now the AC units are running like new.

In addition, we also had to replace a 20+ year furnace. The trust Theo had earned and his direct connection to Gord the salesperson who handles my area, and assurances of receiving a top notch crew, the installation happened quickly, cleanly, and without issue. Full turnkey easy installation by Rob S. and Steve. Great cleanup. Great training on the system.

Very confident in the abilities of A1. Interestingly all spoke very highly of the A1 owners in terms of both treatment and pay. High retention and very satisfied and respected employees is increasingly rare. Well done A1. Almost makes we want to buy more . #78445

I had excellent service from Perry, the installer from A1.....Perry & his side kick were very courteous & professional. I had put a gas line onto our property & then the work began. Had a gas furnace, water heater, stove & BBQ all installed in a day & a half. Everything was cleaned up as well before they left, as neat as a pin! I also had a new A/C installed as well. We had A1 install a new HVAC system in our home last year and today was the first annual service for our furnace. We were impressed that the service tech arrived right at the scheduled time. He was extremely thorough and took the time to explain how we should have our humidifier set for maximum comfort. He was very neat and did remove his shoes before entering our home.
