The company Inspected our roof after we had a leak and provided a report with photos. We requested a quote for a new roof and were provided with a comprehensive description of the process, material, cost and options.
The work was completed safely, within budget & on time. We are thrilled with the quality and the finished product and would highly recommend this company.

I reviewed four different companies to have the roof re-done on my house and garage. I chose Abney for the following reasons: their company representative was experienced in the trade, had years of product knowledge, listened to my concerns and they were able to address other issues such as my gutters and attic insulation. Every step of the work was inspected to Abney's standards and to mine. Great customer service, super efficient office personnel and dedicated workers. Quality workmanship, trustworthy, and absolutely professional: service with honesty and integrity. Abney is the best.

The work included removing and replacing the shingles using the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System with Landmark fibreglass asphalt shingles, replacing the existing gables, installing a bathroom fan exiting through he roof, replacing a section of the B-Vent chimney, and running new down pipe extensions under the rake soffit.
From the very beginning we found the Abney team to be very professional. Their office staff were always courteous and prompt in replying to questions. The quote was professionally done and explained. The workers undertook the work diligently and with great care. They were respectful of one another, especially regarding safety. Our neighbours commented how quiet they were. We would recommend them to our friends.

As a Strata President of a townhouse complex, I would highly recommend Abney Roofing Ltd. to other strata complexes or home owners. They did an excellent job in replacing the roof and gutters using very good quality products while working within the budget and schedule. Additionally, there was good communication between the strata and them. They listened to the strata's request and always offered the best solution. Abney Roofing has been a pleasure to work with. My wife and I did a kitchen renovation in the summer of 2019 and needed to increase the diameter of our range hood ducting. To accommodate the larger diameter, the size of the hole in our roof needed to be increased and a new vent cap needed to be installed. Since we live in a strata, this is not something we could do ourselves and our strata council, who worked with Abney Roofing in the past, recommended Abney Roofing to us. Our roofing job wasn't a big job but they treated us as valued customers nonetheless and everyone we interacted with was extremely helpful, prompt, and personable.

Bob, the president of the company, was very quick to reply to my inquiries and emails. He provided a lot of advice and great information in the weeks leading up to our project to ensure we were well informed on what his team would do and he recommended different styles and qualities of vent caps that would work best for us.

On the day of the job, Patti in Administration let us know that one of the technicians called out sick and we may have to reschedule. I let her know that I had taken the day off of work to be here so she took the time to explore the options and juggle her teams around to make sure that the job was completed that day. This helped make sure our project stayed on track.

Out of all the trades we connected and worked with for our project, Abney Roofing was one of the smoothest, most stress-free, and most price transparent service.

Living in strata means we usually don’t need roofing services but if we ever need them again, they will definitely be our first call.

While not the cheapest, you pay for quality, and they delivered. I had received 7 quotes before theirs, and new immediately, i was dealing with a fastidious team.
